Vampires vs Zombies Review

When I saw the pictures of Vampires vs Zombies I thought of plants vs zombies right away.

The title, the look, it seemed like a PvsZ sequel.

But instead of another tower defense game, we get a very refreshing look at the DAMN ADDICTING farming games.

In VvsZ you play a royal blueblooded vampire who leads other vampires for vampirous glory.

The enemy? Zombies.

So what do we do against them?

Bite them in the neck?
Shoot shotguns?

Naw

Plant pumpkins.

(yes this will destroy the horde in an instant! Hey stop laughing!)

Gameplay

VvsZ has simple gameplay mechanics but with escalading progress its getting more hectic.

You start of with a farming vampire lets call them vampnecks. They plant a pumpkin. With pumpkin you can make jack o lanterns with that you can make bombs with that then you can make a box of bombs.

Why do we make that? To sell them. OF COURSE!

The goal in each level is to either farm as many objects, get to a certain sum of money or BOTH

The only problem is there are Zombies! (suprise?) and if you dont whack them with your stick/hammer/other whacking instrument they gonna eat your busty vampire farmers.

To even make the process you need to build factorys to create these modifications(jackolanterns/bombs) and juggle between a constant do i sell or wait a bit. The risk is and thats the catch, that you can hord forever it has his restrictions.

Also you need patience. Farming pumkins takes time. Selling stuff takes time. buying stuff? Takes time. Wait buying?? well yes there is an marketplace and to make bombs ,for example, you need dynamite of course!

And to keep you more on attantion, every now and then a giant sunglow shines on the map you need to extingish it with a bottle of fire or else your vampires get burned .
Crispys (vampire steaks- DO NOT WANT)

After a level you get golden stars… I just say transilvaynian stars because of the theme. If you beat the level in a certain time you get more stars ranged as gold time silver, bronze and normal. You can replay every level everytime to get more stars even when you finish it in a worse time. Also in mid game zombies might let fall a key or items PICK THEM UP! The keys open up locked door in your castle that works as your HQ between levels, and the items are collection items if you get 5 together you unlock another whacky weapon for you to use.

To close the gap to PvsZ there are even some minigames between your normal levels where you have to kill zombies with a catapult at the front of a battlefield.for example.

Also what VvsZ has in advantage to PvsZ is the menue and the HQ itself. Youc an walk trough several doors, nice drawn busty vampire secretaries, insane professors and royal officers.

You have an option and must to upgrade the different buildings you can craft, there are achievements and even a trophy room to visualize each achievement in a medal or cup or price.
